Interactive Writing

During interactive writing today, the children wrote their longest sentence this year!  They wrote a 10 word sentence about what they learned in writer's workshop.  The sentence was: "We learned how to tell a story with our hands."  I was so impressed with how they were all able to fit the entire sentence into their individual May interactive calendar books!  The class earned two paperclips for working silently and another for doing their best kindergarten writing!  They are all getting ready for first grade!!  Today was officially Mrs. Watts' last day so everyone gave her a goodbye hug.  We can't wait to find out the new baby's name.
