The Lady and the Spider

We read a story today called The Lady and the Spider.  The students became very empathetic towards the spider as we were reading the story, in fear that it could be killed or eaten.  In the end, the students were so relieved to discover that the spider survives.  They all really made a connection to the story after completing the surveys earlier in the week.  Have a great weekend!
