Estimation

The students learned about estimation today.  They estimated how many pennies were in a jar and how many pattern blocks were in a basket.  We talked about how estimating is different from predicting, which we focused on yesterday with our pumpkin.  The student enjoyed wearing their hats today!  The class showed a lot of school spirit!
